Katy Perry hooks up with a new man after ending her romance with John Mayer for the SECOND time.
However, it seems her latest relationship stretched no further than a brisk meet-and-greet at an LA horror bash.
The singer did her best to hide any discomfort she felt as her tattooed accoster stared menacingly at her.
Despite reports of her love split, Katy was in jolly spirits at the launch of the Haunted Hayride at the Hammer Museum in LA last night.
She donned a frock, leather jacket and trilby hat for the spooky occasion, and sported the words ‘EQUAL RIGHTS’ scrawled in pen on her hand.
Her evening out came amid rumours she’s ditched rocker John over his womanising ways.
It’s claimed Katy had grown sick of his roving eye and failure to commit.
They initially separated just two weeks into their relationship in August, but John managed to charm her back.
A source told RadarOnline: “John just can’t commit, and he kept luring Katy back with promises that he was going to change, but then he didn’t.
“Katy was pretty crazy about him, so she kept giving him another chance.”
John reportedly assured Katy he would change for her, but his promises fell on deaf ears.
The source continued: “John liked Katy, so he wanted to keep her in his life, but it just wasn’t up to Katy’s standards.
“She needs the guy to be on board 100 percent and she was sick of John disappearing for five days at a time, then booty calling her, then straightening up and treating her well, only to go back to his old behaviour a few days later.”
John is Katy’s first proper boyfriend since her split from former hubby Russell Brand last December.
